Ella Rock guided hike

What happens

A four-hour return walk along the railway line and up through tea and eucalyptus to the top of Ella Rock, with a view down the Ella Gap. The path is unsigned and locals often misdirect walkers, which is why a guide helps. Start early; it is hot and hazy by 10:00.
